The company is linked to the most important sporting event in the province of Castellón: a 174-kilometre cycling race between Castellón and Onda, where its headquarters are located, and gives meaning to the nickname Ruta de la Cerámica (Route of Ceramics) of this competition.
ATC Colores Cerámicos was founded in 1985 with the aim of supplying ceramic products, colours, glazes and screen printing in particular, to the wide and vast ceramic market. Almost 40 years later, Colores Cerámicos is a benchmark in the world of manufacturing specific products that seeks the highest quality and distinction of the products it works with.
At the Gran Premio Castellón – Ruta de la Cerámica, ATC Colores Cerámicos will be in charge of sponsoring the Intermediate Sprints: these hot spots of the race will have their own classification. The winner will be the one who scores the most points in each of the three scoring passes: Vall d'Alba (km 30.6 and 77.2) and Sant Joan de Moró (km 102). The winner will go up on the podium to receive the prize for winning the Intermediate Sprints classification, in the presence of the authorities, sponsors and organizers.
The ATC Colores Cerámicos facilities occupy an area of 50,000 square metres, of which more than 14,000 are used for industrial buildings, laboratories and offices. For this reason, in the VIP area at the finish line of the Museo del Azulejo, in Onda, they will have a prominent presence, showing the importance of the ceramics sector in the province of Castellón.
Pascual Font de Mora, commercial director of ATC Colores Cerámicos; Jesús Gorriz, manager of ATC Colores Cerámicos; and José Cabedo, director of the event's organization, were present at the formal signing of the collaboration between the company and the Castellón – Ruta de la Cerámica Grand Prix.
